Previously InstaGram [photo sharing service] and now facebook management is in talk with whatapps [OTT messaging provider] to buy it.
Facebook looking to boost its mobile services.
Whatapp is also a paid-for service, which would give Facebook an instant method of plugging its other services into an existing paid-for platform and generating revenues from mobile in a manner that it has struggled with through advertising.
